This week we decorated our school because... Halloween is coming!
Halloween is an old tradition in Ireland and Scotland. In those countries, people dressed up and carried lanterns made of turnips. When people move from Ireland and Scotland to the United States, they started using pumpkins. This is where the Jack o'lantern comes from.
This week we have done different activities, for examples the youngest children decorated a creepy mummy mask. And today we danced together a Halloween song.
The children under five years painted a spider with our hands. We put eyes of diferent colours and a red mouth. OOOOUUUUUU!!!!!!
The children under 4 years painted a ghost with our hands. Are you scared with our ghost??
All together sang...
Trick or treat
smell my feet
give something
good to eat.
